TOURISM

Come to Yuba County and you will definitely want to come back for more . . . A moderate Mediterranean climate ensures year round access to rivers, hiking trails, golf course, parks, and lakes.  Trophy size Kokanee salmon and trout draw anglers to Bullards Bar and Englebright Reservoirs; Collins Lake and Camp Far West provide sport for giant catfish and bass enthusiasts.  Salmon, sturgeon, striper, and steelhead fishing occurs in the Feather, Sacramento, and Yuba Rivers. Fly fisherman can choose from dozens of streams that feed the Yuba and Feather River systems.  Migrating ducks and geese fill the air in the Fall and provide a mecca for hunters, photographers, and other visual artists.  Festivals, parades, community, and school activities are continuous throughout the year.  And, Yuba is quickly climbing to the top as the sports and entertainment capital of Northern California with the new Sleep Train Amphitheatre (previously Sacramento Valley Amphitheatre) The Motorplex, both located in south Yuba County, and our new Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox baseball team.
