economic development logo was approved for Yuba County marketing
projects by the Board of Supervisors at its December 12, 2000 meeting.
The theme for the logo is “Build Your Future in Yuba County.” “We
will be finalizing the color combination and logo characteristics over
the next couple of weeks with consultant Deb Biladeau,” says John
Fleming, Economic Development Coordinator. “The logo will then be
utilized in print ads, our Internet web site at www.yubacounty.org,
marketing material that is currently under development, and related
Yuba County advertising campaigns. “We will be focusing on at least
five specific properties for development that are within a few miles
of our Entertainment Triangle,” stated Mr. Fleming, referring to the
area in Yuba County that features the Sacramento Valley Area
Amphitheatre and the anticipated groundbreaking of the Motorplex at
Yuba County. The
new logo will be used to enhance and complement the efforts of the
Yuba County Marketing Committee that was formed in May 2000 to create
promotional campaigns for future industrial, commercial, residential
and retail development opportunities in Yuba County, specifically
along the 70 and 65 corridors south of Marysville.
