Climate

Yuba County enjoys a temperate “Mediterranean” type climate, characterized by hot and dry summers and cool wet winters. Success with growing grapes and olives in the county is a visible sign of this climate in the general landscape. The weather is cooler in summer and colder and more moist in the winter as you travel up into the mountains, for example, from Marysville to Dobbins to Strawberry Valley.
