The Yuba-Sutter Enterprise Zone is the largest enterprise zone in the
state. It was designated on October 15, 1986, as one of the original
zones. The zone is a four jurisdiction partnership among the
counties of Yuba and Sutter and the cities of Marysville and Yuba
City. Enterprise Zones can take advantage of state tax credits
that can mean $100,000 in savings or more each year. The
jurisdictions have agreed to pursue a five-year designation extension
