The Yuba County Airport is a modern general aviation airport featuring a
6,006-foot primary runway and a 3,280-foot crosswind runway with
capabilities to accommodate jet air carriers, freight carriers, and all
general aviation business jets and private aircraft. The 903-acre
airport is the center of industrial development in Yuba County with
eight industrial parks surrounding the facility. A new 20-year
master plan is underway. Recent improvements include the complete
overlay of the primary runway, overlays and sealing of the entire
taxiway system, new fueling facilities, and a rehabilitation of the
apron, including removal of all underground fueling tanks. The
control tower building remains in place with the anticipation of future
air traffic control operations as The
Motorplex at Yuba County and the
Sleep Train Amphitheatre increase air traffic.
